AARP recognizes Laraine Derr for service

First Lady Donna Walker, left, Andrus Award winner Laraine Derr and AARP Alaska State President Terry Snyder smile at a Juneau event on February 10, 2016 that recognized Derr for her community service work. Derr received the 2015 AARP Alaska Andrus Award for Community Service, the association's most prestigious and visible state volunteer award for community service. Laraine has worked extensively with individuals and organizations in Juneau and across the state for the benefit of Alaskans, young and old, an AARP press statement noted.
