Alaska’s Last Frontier Honor Flight group arrives at the World War II Monument in Washington D.C. in April. All except for McBride are World War II veterans and Hallie Dixon, age 96, is the oldest female veteran in Alaska. McBride, the youngest in the group at age 82, is a Korean War veteran.
