OLÉ stands for Opportunities for Lifelong Education, a non-profit, volunteer-led organization that provides courses aimed to people 50+ years of age – classes for the curious. Become a member, and you may take as many classes as you like for a whole year.

Fall courses will run from September 30 through Nov. 22, with some four-week courses and some eight-week ones. Registration opens Sept. 4 at noon, and new this year, a New Member Orientation (see below).

You can join OLÉ ready to hit the ground running and take advantage of all the benefits OLÉ offers. Learn about SIGs (Shared Interest Groups, which are continuing groups of members who enjoy the same things: photography, hiking, singing, making music, speaking French, and more). OLÉ members also have free access to a large Great Courses library of DVDs.

Membership is a flat fee of $150 for a full year of fascination or $50 for an introductory single term.

New Member Orientation is set for Wednesday, August 28 at 1 p.m. in the Heritage Museum at Wells Fargo Bank, 301 W. Northern Lights Blvd. That’s perfect timing to learn all about using our website, registration, course deadlines, waiting lists – everything you need to know before joining and registering.
