Here are some options to safely avoid crowds while voting:

Absentee ballots: Any Alaskan for any or no reason can request an absentee ballot and mail it (postmarked no later than election day) or drop it off at designated sites. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is 10 days before the election. The state will mail absentee ballot applications to all Alaskans age 65 and older.

Early Voting: Alaskans can also vote in-person 15 days prior to election day in select communities.

Alaska has a history of close elections, so it is important to vote!
