Alaska Health Fairs, Inc. wraps up its fall series of health fairs around the state this month, featuring free health screenings and education, low cost blood tests and more.

These tests can help you learn about your health and detect potential problems early, when treatment or changes in personal habits can be most effective.

Nov. 8 Barrow Barrow Community Health Fair, Piuraagvik Recreation Center. Blood draw, 8 to 11 a.m .; exhibitors, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Nov. 15 Anchorage University Center Health Fair, 8 a.m. to noon
